Please allow enough time for students to shop (approximately15 minutes). When visiting our Gift Shop, please limit the number of students in the Gift Shop to a maximum of 20 at one time. Students must be supervised while in the Gift Shop. Our Gift Shop offers a variety of science-related items and souvenirs at reasonable prices. Teachers showing a valid Alberta Teachers Association ID will receive a 10% discount. Discounts in our Gift Shop do not apply to telescopes/accessories and sale items. Discounts cannot be combined with any other promotion, coupon or discount offer.

TELUS World of Science staff are trained in First Aid and are available daily during TELUS World of Science’s hours of operation. House Managers are prepared to perform First Aid for all visitors. Please contact the House Manager or a TELUS World of Science staff member at the Box Office if you require First Aid.

Free parking for buses and vehicles is available in our parking lot on 111 Avenue and 142 Street. Note: Buses are not permitted to park in the circular drive in front of TELUS World of Science: this is for drop-off and pick-up only. Please respect our environment – ask your bus drivers not to leave the bus idling while waiting for your group.

Storing Your Belongings
TELUS World of Science provides school racks for coats and lunches. Please discourage your students and chaperones from bringing valuables. TELUS World of Science cannot be responsible for the security of coats and other personal articles. When possible, please arrange to leave belongings on the bus.

Lockers
Coin lockers are available across from the Box Office in the lobby. The cost is $1 per locker, non-refundable.

TELUS World of Science is fully wheelchair accessible, including our IMAX Theatre and Margaret Zeidler Star Theatre. Elevators and ramps throughout the facility make it easy to get around and all our washrooms have large stalls. Rental of wheelchairs and strollers is available at the Box Office in the lobby.

TELUS World of Science offers a number of extension courses throughout the year for all ages. A variety of science-related and computer courses are available. Please call our Bookings Office at 780-451-3344 for the current
course brochure.
